Surat Creates World Record as 158 Women Perform Simultaneous Dance on Divine Songs

In a magnificent celebration of women empowerment, spirituality, and India’s rich cultural heritage, Ms. Mauna Shah, Founder and Choreographer from Surat, Gujarat, organized a unique world record event titled “The Swadeshi Souls”. The extraordinary initiative has been officially recognized by World Records India for the Most Women Performing Dance on Divine Songs Simultaneously.

Held at Sarsana Platinum Hall, Surat, Gujarat, the inspiring event witnessed the participation of 158 female performers ranging in age from just 9 months to 90 years, making it a truly multigenerational celebration of devotion, unity, and artistic expression.

During the record attempt, all participants simultaneously performed nine different divine dance forms choreographed to Bollywood spiritual songs, creating a mesmerizing blend of dance, music, and devotion. The synchronized performances beautifully reflected the values of inner strength, faith, grace, and the enduring spirit of Indian culture.

The event was organized by the Better Tomorrow Foundation in association with the Agrawal Mahila Sangathan, with valuable support from The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI). The initiative aimed to inspire women of all ages to embrace spirituality, self-confidence, and cultural pride through the universal language of dance.

Speaking on the occasion, the organizers emphasized that “The Swadeshi Souls” was more than a record attempt—it was a movement celebrating the power, resilience, and unity of women while preserving India’s spiritual and artistic traditions.

In recognition of this exceptional achievement, World Records India officially honored Ms. Mauna Shah and all the participating women for establishing a new world record. The accomplishment stands as a shining example of how art, devotion, and collective participation can inspire generations and strengthen the spirit of women empowerment.
