Faculty of Pharmacy, BIHER Sets World Record with the Largest Actathon on Rational Use of Drugs

Demonstrating its commitment to promoting responsible healthcare practices and pharmaceutical education, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital Campus, under the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER), has set a World Record for the Maximum Pharmacy Students Performing an Actathon on Rational Use of Drugs.

A total of 220 pharmacy students, organized into 30 teams, actively participated in the record-breaking actathon conducted from 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM. Through creative stage performances, the participants effectively highlighted the importance of the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medicines, raising awareness about the rational use of drugs among the public and healthcare community.

The event served as an innovative educational platform, encouraging students to communicate vital healthcare messages through engaging acts while emphasizing the role of pharmacists in ensuring patient safety and responsible medication practices.
