TATA Motors Sets World Record with 29.9 kmpl Fuel Efficiency in 12-Hour Endurance Drive

TATA Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited (TMPV) has achieved a remarkable World Record for the Maximum Fuel Efficiency Achieved in 12 Hours. The record was established at the National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX), Indore, where the Pixel Motion team drove the TATA Sierra, powered by the 1.5L Hyperion engine, continuously for 12 hours.

The endurance drive commenced at 7:00 a.m. and concluded at 7:00 p.m., with the vehicle stopping only for scheduled driver changes. Throughout the 12-hour challenge, the TATA Sierra delivered an impressive maximum fuel efficiency of 29.9 kmpl, showcasing its advanced engineering, refined powertrain, and exceptional fuel economy.

The record-setting achievement highlights TATA Motors’ commitment to developing vehicles that combine performance, efficiency, and sustainability. Conducted under controlled testing conditions at one of India’s premier automotive testing facilities, the feat demonstrates the capability of the TATA Sierra to deliver outstanding mileage without compromising reliability or endurance.
