Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) has achieved a remarkable World Record for the Maximum Ventures Registered by an Institute in 72 Hours. As part of the globally recognized Wadhwani Venture Cohort, the university successfully onboarded 4,538 students, who collectively registered 1,805 student ventures on the Wadhwani Foundation’s Learning Management System (LMS) portal within a span of just 72 hours.
The record-setting initiative showcased the university’s strong commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture among students. By encouraging aspiring entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into registered ventures, MIT-WPU created one of the largest campus-driven entrepreneurship movements in the country.
The achievement reflects a highly coordinated, institution-wide effort involving students, faculty, and mentors working together to promote entrepreneurial thinking and innovation at scale. The initiative also provided students with a structured platform to develop business ideas, strengthen startup capabilities, and prepare for real-world entrepreneurial challenges.
