Along with his dedicated surgical team, Dr. Patel successfully removed 370 lipomas (benign soft-tissue tumours) from a single patient during one complex surgical procedure.
The record-breaking surgery, performed in August 2025, lasted seven hours and required exceptional surgical expertise, precision, and meticulous planning. The successful removal of such a large number of benign tumours in a single operation highlights the team’s clinical excellence and commitment to delivering advanced patient care.
Lipomas are non-cancerous fatty growths that develop beneath the skin and, in rare cases, can occur in large numbers.
