Arun Icecreams, a popular brand of Hatsun Agro Product Limited, achieved a remarkable World Record, after bringing together 4,008 children in Chennai to create the longest chain of people licking ice cream.
During the record-breaking attempt, the children formed a continuous human chain and participated in the activity for one minute. Each participant held hands while offering ice cream to the person on their right, creating a coordinated chain involving thousands of children.
Participants enjoyed Arun Icecreams’ butterscotch and chocolate-flavoured Jolly Train products, made with real milk and cream. With 4,008 participants, the achievement surpassed the previous benchmark of approximately 2,500 students, reportedly established in Canada around 15 years earlier.
The record achievement was witnessed by representatives associated with the record verification process, and the official certificate was presented to C. Sathyan, Vice Chairman of Hatsun Agro Product Limited.
Commenting on the milestone, R. G. Chandramogan, Chairman of Hatsun Agro Product Limited, described it as a cherished moment for the company and highlighted the joy of seeing more than 4,000 children come together for the record-setting event.
The achievement adds another memorable milestone to Arun Icecreams’ journey and demonstrates how a popular food brand can bring thousands of participants together through a fun and engaging mass event.
