World Records has officially released its 2027 edition, bringing together an extraordinary collection of newly achieved records from around the world, including the narrowest driveable car and the most tattooed person.
The annual World Records 2027 book is now available in stores and features an updated collection of remarkable human achievements, unusual inventions, daring stunts, impressive memory feats and enormous collections.
Every year, thousands of people attempt to earn a place in the famous record book by demonstrating exceptional skills, creativity, endurance or determination.
The 2027 edition showcases dozens of newly broken records alongside established achievements. Among the headline-making additions are records involving the narrowest driveable car and the most tattooed person, demonstrating the remarkable diversity of categories documented by the organisation. The book also features achievements involving physical challenges, collections, memory skills and other unusual accomplishments.
According to World Records Editor-in-Chief Craig Glenday, the organisation received tens of thousands of applications from aspiring record breakers following its invitation for people around the world to “Be Part of It.”
Record managers reviewed the submissions to select extraordinary achievements for inclusion in the latest edition. Glenday described the new book as a fully updated collection of statistics, facts, figures and photographs celebrating some of the most incredible achievements on Earth and beyond.
