Indian cinema has achieved another global milestone as Allu Arjun and filmmaker Atlee’s upcoming film Raaka has entered the World Records even before its theatrical release.
The makers announced that Raaka achieved the World Records title for the “Most People Motion-Captured in Real-Time.” The record was accomplished by simultaneously motion-capturing 37 performers for a sequence in the film.
The achievement was announced by Sun Pictures on the occasion of director Atlee’s 40th birthday. The production house also shared photographs showing Allu Arjun and Atlee receiving the official World Records certificate.
According to the makers, the record-breaking sequence involved advanced motion-capture technology that recorded the performances and movements of all 37 participants simultaneously in real time. A behind-the-scenes video was also released, offering viewers a glimpse into the technology and production process used to create the sequence.
Raaka, starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone, has already generated considerable attention because of its cast, scale and technical ambition. The World Records recognition adds another notable achievement to the project ahead of its release.
