LuLu has achieved a spectacular World Records title for creating the world’s largest flower pot mosaic, using an incredible 125,000 fresh flowers across a 94-square-metre display in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The colourful record-breaking creation was unveiled as part of celebrations marking Saudi Arabia’s 94th National Day, combining creativity, national pride and community participation in an impressive floral installation. The giant flower pot mosaic covered an area of 94 square metres and was meticulously created using approximately 125,000 fresh flowers.
Designed around the theme “Dream and Achieve,” the installation represented the aspirations and ambitions of the Saudi people while celebrating the country’s National Day. The enormous floral display attracted numerous visitors who gathered to witness the record-breaking creation at ROSHN Waterfront in Jeddah.
The achievement was officially recognised during a ceremony at the waterfront, where World Records adjudicator Mbali Masechaba Nkos presented the record certificate to LuLu’s western region team. The ceremony was attended by Ahmed Alqarni, Director General of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture – Makkah Region, along with LuLu executives and other senior officials.
The record-breaking event was held under the patronage of the Governorate of Jeddah, Amana Jeddah and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, along with the Lenobadir volunteering initiative.
The event was organised in partnership with Comfort, a fabric-softener brand, with LuLu also associating with ROSHN and Rotana for the celebration. According to Shehim Mohammed, Director of LuLu Saudi, the achievement reflected the organisation’s commitment to promoting national pride and celebrating the spirit of unity.
Alongside the record-breaking floral display, visitors participated in a variety of activities during the celebration, with prizes including smartphones, AirPods, televisions and annual gym memberships.
The combination of 125,000 fresh flowers, a 94-square-metre mosaic and the “Dream and Achieve” theme transformed the National Day celebration into a memorable occasion. By securing the World Records title for the world’s largest flower pot mosaic, LuLu marked Saudi Arabia’s 94th National Day with an impressive display of creativity, community spirit and national pride.
