At an age when most children are only beginning to understand and express their emotions, Anvi Vishesh Agrawal turned her feelings into a book—and went on to become a two-time World Records holder.

Now 6 years old, Anvi holds World Records for being the youngest female to publish a bilingual book and the youngest female TEDx speaker.

Anvi achieved her first World Records title at the age of 4 years and 254 days after publishing her debut book, “Little Girl, Big Emotions,” in both English and Spanish. The book focuses on children’s emotions and was inspired by Anvi’s own experiences of dealing with feelings that sometimes seemed overwhelming. Through the story, she aimed to help other children recognise, understand and express their emotions more comfortably. The book quickly attracted attention and sold more than 1,167 copies within its first week of publication.

Just six months after her publishing achievement, Anvi added another record to her name. At 5 years and 96 days, she became the youngest female TEDx speaker, where she spoke about creativity and shared her belief that creativity can be a child’s “superpower.” The achievement demonstrated her confidence not only as a young author but also as a public speaker capable of presenting ideas before an audience at an exceptionally young age.

Anvi’s journey has been closely connected with the idea that children should feel safe expressing what they are going through. Her book uses simple storytelling to explore complex feelings, encouraging children to talk about emotions rather than suppress them. She has also used painting and other creative activities as ways to understand and express her feelings.
