Bengaluru-based CurbOver has set an impressive automotive record for the “Largest Convoy of Single Model 4-Wheeler to Reach Umling La Pass,” with 30 Jimny cars successfully completing a challenging high-altitude drive to the top of Umling La Pass. The record-setting convoy began its journey from Hanle and covered approximately 74 kilometres, navigating rocky and treacherous terrain before reaching Umling La Pass at an elevation of 19,024 feet above sea level.

A total of 30 Jimny cars participated in the expedition as a single-model convoy. Starting from Hanle, the vehicles travelled through the demanding landscape of Ladakh, where rugged roads, high altitude and difficult terrain tested both drivers and vehicles. The convoy successfully completed the 74-kilometre journey to Umling La Pass, marking a significant achievement for CurbOver and the participating automotive enthusiasts.

Situated at an altitude of 19,024 feet, Umling La Pass presents an extraordinary environment for motorists, with thin air, remote terrain and challenging road conditions adding to the difficulty of the journey. Reaching the pass with 30 vehicles of the same model highlighted the coordination, preparation and adventurous spirit behind the record-setting drive.

Beyond the record itself, the expedition showcased the growing enthusiasm for adventure driving, off-road experiences and high-altitude automotive expeditions in India. By bringing together 30 Jimny cars for a demanding journey through Ladakh, CurbOver demonstrated the strong sense of community and exploration that continues to drive India’s automotive adventure culture. With 30 Jimny cars covering 74 kilometres from Hanle and successfully reaching Umling La Pass at 19,024 feet, CurbOver has established a distinctive milestone in India’s automotive record landscape.
