Himalaya Wellness Sets World Record as 66,928 Healthcare Professionals Unite for Sustainability

Himalaya Wellness Company has achieved a new World Records™ title after bringing together 66,928 doctors and healthcare practitioners from across India in a nationwide sustainability initiative. The campaign, launched on Doctors’ Day, combined healthcare advocacy with environmental responsibility and surpassed the previous benchmark of 53,201 participants.

The achievement was recognized in the category “Largest Online Photo Album of People Holding a Sign.” As part of the month-long initiative, healthcare professionals submitted photographs holding the message “United for Wellness, United for a Greener Tomorrow.” Each eligible submission was reviewed and verified according to the record guidelines before the final total of 66,928 was confirmed.

The campaign also promoted tree planting and environmental sustainability, emphasizing the growing connection between human health and the health of the planet. Through the initiative, Himalaya Wellness sought to encourage healthcare professionals and communities to recognize environmental protection as an important component of long-term public well-being.

Jayashree Ullal, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Himalaya Wellness Company, said the achievement reflects the company’s philosophy of “Care for Life,” encompassing care for people, the planet, and partnerships. She emphasized that sustainability remains part of Himalaya’s long-term vision rather than being limited to a single campaign.

The record-setting participation demonstrates how healthcare professionals can collectively amplify environmental awareness while encouraging action toward a healthier and more sustainable future.
