Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited achieved a remarkable world record for creating the “Largest Human Image of Jio Pongal” under the theme “Jio Happy Pongal.”
The record-breaking event brought together 1,800 female students, who assembled to form a massive “Jio Happy Pongal” formation. Adding a unique cultural element to the achievement, the participants collectively cooked 450 kg of Pongal while maintaining the formation throughout the activity.
The event was held at KSR Educational Institutions, Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu, India. The record attempt began at 10:30 AM and concluded at 1:50 PM.
The enormous rectangular human formation measured an impressive 80 metres × 180 metres, demonstrating large-scale coordination, teamwork and disciplined participation.
The event was organised by Team Alfa Event Management Company, Chennai, while the record attempt was managed by Sadhanai Sigaram Creations.
The achievement combined Tamil Nadu’s traditional Pongal celebrations with large-scale human participation and corporate engagement, creating a memorable celebration of culture, community and teamwork.
