VIDA VX2 Sets Record with 12,111 Km Electric Scooter Journey Across 16 States and 30 Cities

VIDA VX2 and rider Girish Shet have set a remarkable record for the “Longest Journey by an Electric Scooter Across All Playing Cities of One Cricket Franchise,” covering 12,111 kilometres over 52 days.

The record-setting journey began in Bengaluru and concluded in Delhi on June 3, 2026, after traversing 16 states and 30 cities across India.

Riding a VIDA VX2 electric scooter, Girish Shet completed the extensive journey while travelling through all playing cities connected with the selected cricket franchise. Over the course of 52 days, the ride covered a total distance of 12,111 km, showcasing the endurance of both the rider and the electric scooter across varied road, weather and traffic conditions. The journey also highlighted the growing potential of electric two-wheelers for long-distance travel in India.

The record attempt took Girish through 16 states and 30 cities, turning the expedition into a nationwide celebration of electric mobility, cricket and fan engagement. Beginning in Bengaluru and ending in Delhi, the route connected multiple cities associated with the cricket season while demonstrating the VIDA VX2’s ability to undertake an extended cross-country journey.

The initiative was undertaken to support the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and engage with cricket fans across India. By combining cricket enthusiasm with electric mobility, the record-setting ride created a unique connection between sport, fans and sustainable transportation. With 12,111 km covered in 52 days across 16 states and 30 cities, Girish Shet and the VIDA VX2 have established a distinctive milestone in electric scooter endurance and long-distance mobility.
