Graphic Era University Sets Record by Preparing 554 Varieties of Parathas

The Department of Hospitality Management at Graphic Era Deemed to be University has set a remarkable culinary record for the “Maximum Varieties of Parathas Prepared by an Educational Institute,” after preparing and displaying an impressive 554 different varieties of parathas.

The record-setting initiative brought together faculty members and students of the university, who collaborated to showcase India’s rich and diverse culinary traditions through one of the country’s most popular foods.

A total of 554 varieties of parathas were prepared and exhibited during the event. Each variety featured different combinations of ingredients, flavours, fillings and traditional cooking techniques, highlighting the versatility of the humble paratha and its importance in Indian cuisine. The large-scale culinary display required extensive planning, preparation and teamwork from both students and faculty members.
