Welsh teenager James Taylor has strengthened his reputation as one of the world’s leading young freestyle footballers after securing third place at the NextGen World Football Freestyle Championships in the Netherlands.
The 14-year-old from Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, impressed against international competition with his freestyle football skills, adding another major achievement to his rapidly growing list of accomplishments.
James competed at the NextGen World Football Freestyle Championships, where his performance earned him an impressive third-place finish. The achievement places the young athlete among the leading freestyle footballers in his age group and represents another important milestone in his developing career.
Despite being only 14, James has already achieved five World Records titles through his freestyle football skills. His most recent record was for completing the most football “around-the-worlds” in one minute in the under-16 category. The “around-the-world” is a freestyle football trick in which the player circles their foot completely around the ball while keeping it under control.
What makes James’s achievements particularly impressive is that he is self-taught. He has developed his skills through consistent daily practice, gradually mastering increasingly difficult tricks and combinations.His third-place finish on the international stage, combined with five World Records titles, highlights the young footballer’s dedication, coordination and exceptional ball-control skills.
