Rotary Club of Erode Nexus Sets World Record with Largest E-Waste Segregation Activity by Kids

Rotary Club of Erode Nexus has achieved a remarkable World Record for the Largest E-Waste Segregation Activity by Kids. The inspiring environmental initiative brought together 286 children under the age of 10, including children with special needs, who successfully participated in an e-waste segregation drive within an impressive 4 minutes and 1 second.

The record-setting activity aimed to instill environmental responsibility among young children by introducing them to the importance of proper electronic waste disposal and recycling. Through hands-on participation, the children learned to identify and segregate different types of e-waste, reinforcing the significance of sustainable waste management from an early age.

The initiative also promoted inclusivity by encouraging the active participation of children with special needs, demonstrating that environmental conservation is a shared responsibility for everyone. By engaging young minds in practical learning, the campaign fostered awareness about reducing electronic waste, protecting natural resources, and building a cleaner, greener future.
