Biju BP, a former banker from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, has been recognized by the World Records Union for completing the Longest Solo Motorcycle Ride Across Indian States and Union Territories Promoting Girl Empowerment Through Education. His extraordinary expedition lasted 666 days, covering every state and Union Territory in India while advocating the importance of educating and empowering girls.
Undertaken with a social mission rather than a record in mind, the journey exposed Biju to the incredible diversity of India and allowed him to spread awareness about the transformative power of education for girls. Throughout the expedition, he interacted with communities across the country, encouraging equal educational opportunities and inspiring young people to pursue their dreams.
After completing the journey in October, Biju submitted extensive evidence, including photographs, videos, travel records, and newspaper reports, for verification. Following a thorough review process, the World Records Union officially recognized the achievement in May, acknowledging both the scale of the expedition and its meaningful social purpose.
Biju BP’s inspiring accomplishment demonstrates how adventure can become a powerful platform for social change. His record-breaking ride not only celebrates endurance and determination but also reinforces the message that educating girls is essential for building a more equitable and progressive society.
