The Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA) has achieved a remarkable World Record for the Fastest Construction of a High-Rise Residential Building. Demonstrating exceptional engineering efficiency and modern construction practices, PMRDA completed a P+14-storey residential building in a record 95 days, setting a new benchmark in India’s urban infrastructure development.
The high-rise project, with a Floor Space Index (FSI) built-up area of 94,721.91 square feet, comprises 112 well-planned 2-BHK residential flats. The project was executed using the Industrialised 3-S System, incorporating precast reinforced cement concrete (RCC) walls, beams, and slabs, enabling rapid construction without compromising structural quality or safety.
The record-setting achievement highlights the effectiveness of advanced construction technologies in delivering high-quality, affordable housing within an exceptionally short timeframe. The initiative reflects PMRDA’s commitment to promoting sustainable urban development, improving housing availability, and adopting innovative building techniques that reduce construction time, minimize waste, and enhance efficiency.
