India’s ambitious Bengaluru–Kadapa–Vijayawada Economic Corridor (NH-544G) has achieved a historic milestone by setting four world records during its construction, underscoring the nation’s growing excellence in infrastructure development and highway engineering.
The record-breaking achievements were accomplished on NH-544G, a 518-kilometre, six-lane, access-controlled expressway being developed to strengthen connectivity between Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Once operational, the corridor is expected to reduce travel time between Bengaluru and Vijayawada from nearly 12 hours to approximately 8 hours, providing faster, safer, and more efficient transportation.
