Dr. P. Raghu Ram Creates Third Guinness World Record with AI-Powered Holographic Breast Health Awareness Lecture

Renowned breast surgeon Dr. P. Raghu Ram has created history by securing his third Guinness World Records title in just 15 months, setting a remarkable milestone in the field of healthcare innovation and public health education. The new record was achieved by hosting the world’s largest audience for an interactive AI-enabled holographic breast health awareness lecture, demonstrating the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in medical education.

The groundbreaking event featured an AI-generated hologram of Dr. Raghu Ram, which delivered an informative lecture on breast health and interacted with the audience by answering questions in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. The virtual educator provided evidence-based information on breast diseases, breast cancer, screening, early detection, and preventive care, making vital healthcare knowledge accessible to a diverse audience.

Recognizing this pioneering initiative, Guinness World Records introduced a new record category dedicated to AI-enabled holographic health education, highlighting the growing role of artificial intelligence in advancing public health awareness.

The occasion also marked the launch of NARI (National Awareness & Resource Initiative for Breast Health), an AI-powered digital platform designed to provide reliable breast health information around the clock. The platform enables users to ask questions and receive scientifically verified guidance in multiple Indian languages, helping bridge healthcare information gaps, particularly in underserved and remote communities.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Abhijat Sheth, Chairman of the National Medical Commission, applauded the initiative, stating, “This is not merely a record, but a public health innovation with the potential to benefit countless individuals.”

Dedicating the achievement to his late mother, Dr. Ushalakshmi, a breast cancer survivor and respected gynaecologist, Dr. Raghu Ram emphasized that the true purpose of the initiative extends far beyond breaking records.

“Awareness, early detection and hope can save lives,” he said, adding that the real objective is to ensure every woman, regardless of her location, language, or background, has access to trustworthy breast health information.

Dr. Bhaskar Rao, Chairman of KIMS Hospitals, also praised the initiative, noting that it demonstrates how artificial intelligence can be responsibly harnessed to improve healthcare education and engage the public on an unprecedented scale.

In an exclusive interaction, Dr. Raghu Ram highlighted the growing burden of breast cancer in India. He noted that breast cancer is increasingly being diagnosed among younger women, with the highest incidence now seen in the 40–50 years age group. He stressed that timely awareness, regular screening, and early diagnosis remain the most effective tools in reducing breast cancer-related mortality.

By combining advanced AI technology with healthcare education, Dr. P. Raghu Ram has not only earned another Guinness World Record but has also established a new benchmark for innovative public health outreach. His achievement showcases how technology can be leveraged to empower communities with life-saving knowledge and inspire a new era of accessible, multilingual, and evidence-based healthcare education.
