The remarkable achievements have been officially recognized by World Records India.
The hospital’s most significant accomplishment came in May 2026, when the team successfully delivered 572 babies in a single month, including 495 full-term normal vaginal deliveries and only 77 Caesarean Sections (C-sections), resulting in an exceptionally low C-section rate of just 13.46%. The milestone also included 24 painless vaginal deliveries, 67 successful Vaginal Births After Caesarean (VBACs), and 69 mothers who delivered normally despite having been advised to undergo C-sections elsewhere. This achievement established the record for the Maximum Babies Delivered in a Month with the Lowest C-Section Ratio.
Adding to this remarkable success, Dr. Joja and his team also created a new record for the Maximum Mothers with Previous C-Section Delivered Normally in 24 Hours. Within a continuous 24-hour period, the hospital successfully conducted 7 full-term VBAC deliveries, resulting in the birth of 3 male and 4 female babies. The accomplishment highlights the team’s advanced clinical expertise in safely managing vaginal births for mothers with previous Caesarean deliveries.
The third record was achieved when the hospital successfully delivered 26 babies within 24 hours, including 12 boys and 14 girls. Of these, 24 were full-term normal vaginal deliveries, while only 2 required Caesarean Sections.
